How to measure right

Stand inside, right at the front door. Back to the house, face the street.
Hold the phone flat, top pointing straight out the door.
Stay 1–2 m (3–6 ft) away from cars, metal doors, the fridge, speakers.
Take off a magnetic case or MagSafe wallet.
If the phone asks, wave it in a figure 8 to calibrate.
Measure 3 spots: center of the door, center of the house, front yard. The tool averages them.
