CLCA: the CASp (disability access) addendum to a commercial lease
A one-page add-on that says whether an access expert (CASp) checked the space, when the tenant got the report, whether the tenant can back out, and who pays to fix access problems.
1 pageSigned by landlord + tenantWhen you sign a commercial lease (Form CL)
Paragraph number check: CLCA (11/16) says it replaces paragraph 34 of the lease. That numbering follows the older CL. In the current CL (Revised 6/26) the CASp paragraph is ¶35 (¶34 is Tenant Representations; Credit). The repair paragraphs it names (17, 18, 19) may also have shifted. If you attach CLCA to a CL 6/26, ask your broker or a lawyer how to write the paragraph number.

Next steps
Ask the landlord early: was there a CASp? Get the report more than 48 hours before you sign.
Write down the exact time you sign and the date you get the report, so you know your deadline.
